An open-bite concern approached through restorative design
Our patient had an open-bite concern, with a difference between the upper and lower jaw relationship described during planning. In this individual case, tooth preparation and restorative design changed the tooth shapes and contacts. The patient received the completed result without jaw surgery; the jaw bones themselves were not moved.

This patient asked for the canine teeth to look a little longer and more prominent than the front incisors. We incorporated that specific request into the restorative smile design. The finished shape reflects a deliberate personal preference, rather than an attempt to give every front tooth the same outline.

Alignment first. Then a translucent E‑max finish.
This patient’s journey combined orthodontic alignment with a later E‑max laminate veneer treatment at our clinic. Once the teeth had been brought into a more regular position, the veneers refined their visible shape and colour. The result used a natural-looking white with a translucent ceramic appearance, rather than an intentionally opaque finish.

A treatment should look natural, feel comfortable and be manageable to care for. We plan the health of the teeth and gums, the restoration and your follow-up together — and explain the reason for each decision.
Start with what your teeth actually need.
We examine the teeth, gums, existing dental work and bite before recommending treatment. Decay or active gum disease needs attention; covering a problem with a new restoration does not resolve its cause.
When a different approach makes sense
Not every change in colour or shape calls for a crown. Whitening, bonding, orthodontic care or a partial restoration may be suitable alternatives. We explain what can be preserved and whether preparation is needed before you agree to treatment. Dt. Your implant system or ceramic is selected for the planned treatment. We check the restoration’s edges, the contacts with neighbouring teeth and the way the teeth meet. These details affect comfort, function and access for daily cleaning.
Why the brand name is only one part
A well-known material still needs appropriate design and clinical fitting. A tooth that needs fuller support and a tooth suitable for a thin veneer have different requirements. Tell us your material or implant-brand preference; your dentist confirms whether it is appropriate for your case.
How we plan implant treatmentMake care at home part of the plan.
Implants and ceramic restorations still need daily cleaning and regular reviews. The surrounding gums and remaining natural teeth need care too. We explain the routine for your treatment and the follow-up appointments you need.
What happens after you return home
Keep your written care instructions and treatment information. Contact us if your bite feels uneven, something becomes loose, or you develop a new concern. Our international team guides the next step, including an in-person assessment when needed. Ongoing contact supports your care; it cannot replace an examination.
